Madhuradhwani and Carnatica are jointly organising a 16-day series of concerts by young musicians in memory of Carnatic music legends.
This is an online event and will be webcast through the Youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/ArkayRamakrishnan and live on Facebook on the page - https://www.facebook.com/arkayconventioncenter
The concerts are scheduled at 6.15 p.m. daily from Sep. 18 to Oct. 3, 2020.
The series titled 'Unsung Heroes' pays tribute to the rich and unique style of yesteryear musicians Vedaranyam Vedamurthy (Nadaswaram), Vairamangalam Lakshminarayanan, Calcutta K.S. Krishnamurthy. Trivandum R. Venkataraman (Veena), T.M. Thyagarajan, Radha-Jayalakshmi, Budalur Krishnamurthy Sastrigal (Gottuvadyam), T.K. Rangachari, B.V. Raman-B.V. Lakshmanan, Kumbakonam Rajamanickam Pillai (Violin), Sattur A.G. Subramaniam, Manakkal Rangarajan, R. Pitchumani (Veena), Voleti Venkateswarulu, T. Viswanathan (Flute) and T. Muktha.
