Every year in Sep-Oct, a Veena festival, curated by veena vidwan B. Kannan, is organised at Narada Gana Sabha, Chennai. This year the festival, spanning across 20 days, goes online.
Jointly presented by Narada Gana Sabha Trust, Kalakendra and Bharata Ilango Foundation for Asian Culture (BIFAC), the festival features over 345 artistes, who play 14 different varieties of string instruments in 245 slots from India and 16 countries abroad, the festival will be on the YouTube channel of Kalakendra and their facebook page.
The inauguration will be on Sep. 26, 2020 at 9.45 a.m.
